Heroic journalists in high risk area. Their videos of maternity hospital bombing of vital importance. Ukrainian forces get them out alive passing through 15 Russian checkpoints. Russians were hunting them down, surrounding where they were. Doctors put white gowns on them as camouflage/disguise.

They stayed nearly a month there. The last remaining news outlet before they left (Ukrainians wanted them out, feared Russian capture would force them to recant on live air).

Mariupol is now totally alone from all communications.

Quote from: Newbeeee™ on March 23, 2022, 07:33 AMSay it's only 3 million deaths then?

Seems like an exaggerated figure to me.

Overall, your premise is correct.

But posting Russian state media? F them.

Take a side...

^^ I can, not blocked at work. I just honor it, as I know they don't like social media while working.

The Russians are VERY savvy. Good disinformation is sprinkled with truth. Yes, the U.S. and U.K. are not saints. Yes, there are neo Nazi factions in Ukraine. So they get gullible people who see that and say "that is true!" and then they become inclined to take them (Russians) at face value. Its the game they always played. And they're playing you.

Did Russia give out the figures of all the deaths under the Stalin regime? Do YOU have access to the carnage inflicted by the Soviet Union (and now Russian Federation, if you can still call it that)?

There are Nazi factions all over the world. In Ukraine? Sure. Also, in the U.S., U.K., Germany, and,....in Russia. (and many other countries)

Its what the Russians have always excelled at. Casting doubt with sprinkles of truth mixed in.

Don't be fooled. They are hideous. A threat to the world. Blood sucking tyrants. With nukes...

And,...as we are learning (most already knew who were in the know).... they are overrated. They are not the efficient military power they perceived to be. They are corrupt inside. When you have a closed economy, you have rampant corruption. Countless bureaucrats skimming off the top. Russian military full of out dated equipment. Putin fooled by their information. Countless $$$ he thought were going in to their military that was instead going in the pockets of his corrupted minions.

Western media also has many faults. We all know that. They aren't always truthful (a shock, I know).

There was an interview with Zelensky with Zelensky denying any Nazi influence in his country. All lies, he declared. Then he went on about the history of his grandfather who survived the Nazi oppression of the Jews but that countless other family members perished. All his grandfather's brothers were killed by the Nazis, etc. (we all know the disturbing situation that was back then).

And, the reporter agreed with everything and also declared, "There is ZERO evidence any any neo Nazi involvements in Ukraine! Complete fabricated lies!",.......... he never once brings up the Azov battalion. And social media DOES constantly bring that up!

So then, reporting like this plays right in Russian hands. They pounce. Sow seeds of doubt. Make no mistake, the Russians are cunning. Masters of propaganda. Lies layered with truths. (they've had lots of practice over the decades!)

Unless the U.S. or U.K. can get him out of there (not safe in Istanbul).

Valuable info to glean from him.

Putin has started purging his top generals and intelligence people
This guy was probably one step ahead of a liquidation crew stopping by for a visit.

If he left family behind, he will be receiving videos of their murders soon
He only has 2 hopes of staying alive.
1.  Someone takes Putin out and puts an end to this madness
or
2. US intelligence picks him up and squirrels him away somewhere

Putin came up in a brutal organization at a brutal time in Russian history
Americans cannot comprehend the brutality guys like him are capable of.
With Putin, a bullet in the back of the head is an act of mercy

I was referring to how Putin deals with his enemies.
A bullet in the back of the head is a mercy compare to a visit to Lubyanka.
You'll still get the bullet but it may be long and painful years before you receive your bullet.

I still think that it would be a good day if Putin fell out a ten story window.
