Maybe you should Re-Think ??? Hmmm?? ;D

I didn't say I agreed. I just said I may understand.

You talk about killing your neighbors like it is or should be completely off the table. C'mon man. Where's the deterrence in that?

Kidding. Kidding. :coffee:

Me too. Guy to the left of me is Retired LA County Sheriff. To the right of me is a family with 3 kids in sports. Across from me is a Golf Pro and his family and the other across from me.. retired civil engineer. Those are just the ones that come over to my house and hang out. I'm workin' on the other ones. Gotta find out who the gun nuts are ya know. I need ta know who else can help defend the neighborhood when it hits the fan.

I don't think any of my neighbors are gun people.
I see .380 brass laying around up the street on New Years morning, but I consider those guys idiots,
not gun people.

One of my neighbors imported 2 beautiful German Shepard puppies from Germany with the goal of getting rich
breeding puppies. He did not realize he was buying the product of 30 years of breeding with the goal
of creating attack dogs.
He doesn't know squat about dogs and two years later the male was the terror of the neighborhood
He was a magnificent animal, 100 pounds of totally untrained, undisciplined, stone killer... and he could climb his fence like a monkey.
One evening I heard this terrible racket out in the street.
This dog had 2 of my neighbors pinned against a van snarling and growling like Cujo on steroids.
I put a 1911 in my back pocket grabbed a leash and went out.
I got the dog backed off and herded him home.
The neighbors thought I was a superstar who had saved their lives.
Then they saw the 1911 in my back pocket.   They haven't spoken to me since.  LOL
Definitely not gun people.

it was a great life for a lot of years, but liberalism destroys everything it touches

Here at work we've lost 5 long term employees who have packed up and left the state since the first of the year.
2 were multigenerational California natives .

edit.. those 5 guys leaving took about 90 years combined machining experience with them
It has really hurt us, but you can't blame them for doing what they think is best for their families.
I've heard rumor that a couple more are planning their escapes as well

My neighbors on the left are Terry and Frank, a retired school teacher and her husband, a retired postal worker.
Nicest people you would ever want to have as neighbors, but definitely NOT gun people, more like sheeple.

Scott, my neighbor on the right for the past 30 years, is definitely a gun guy, and pretty deadly with a bow as well.
The rest of our neighbors are pretty much transient, so we usually don't get to know them for long.

When the SHTF, it's probably going to be just me and Scott, and one other guy, Joe, a retired police officer who lives around the corner.

If it gets to the point of complete anarchy, me and the Mrs. have a bug-out plan that involves a few other family members, and a cabin in the woods.

...and a country boy can survive...

The Russians lost a battle cruiser in the Black Sea yesterday, the flagship of the Black Sea fleet
The Russians claim is a fire got into an ammo locker.
The Ukrainians say they hit it with 2 shore to ship missiles.
Which ever story is true it's a heavy blow and not a good look for the Russians.
I'm going with the missiles, which is kind of funny since Ukraine doesn't even have a navy

Quote from: Newbeeee™ on April 15, 2022, 03:13 AMSo this could also be a great offload opportunity to get rid (but "sell") obsolete munitions -

This stuff was bought and paid for years ago. The MIC won't get anything out of this transfer
but
The MIC is working feverishly to replenish the stockpiles of modern weapons.

A side note to all of this..
The Russians have always had a booming business building and selling aircraft, missiles, AA systems etc.
for sale to anyone who wanted to buy it.
They were cheaper and "almost as good" as Western weapons systems.
They war in Ukraine has demonstrated that this is not true. The Russian stuff is a pale imitation of Western
weapons systems and Russia will have to give huge discounts to sell their stuff once this is over.

Quote from: Newbeeee™ on April 15, 2022, 07:05 AMIf it was hit by 2 missiles, then would that be the case?

it "could" be the case...really depends on where the supposed missles hit the ship....possible, yes, likely....dunno

neurosis

Quote from: Newbeeee™ on April 15, 2022, 02:08 AMAnd did I read correctly there was a Whitehouse meeting yesterday where the top 4 or 5 military contractors were gathered and awarded multi million contracts for the next 8 years for weaponry to be shipped to that area?
When I say White House, obviously I refer to the film studio as Buyed-In doesn't seem to be allowed in the real one....

You need to start citing sources so we can all educate ourselves.  :D

i have to disagree, terrorists will buy it regardless. works for roadside bombs, all the AK that work whatever you throw at them. the terrorists will improvise with them as always and kick or political handcuffed asses (on ground).
