What do I have to change so that when I have the part in Front WCS it orientates the same way it would in the mill with the 4th axis on the right.
What I do now is copy the Front WCS then rotate it and every time I need to use it it's 3 extra clicks and mouse drags away.

Create a template file already setup that way and then merge your CAD files into it?

mayday

I never use the WCS, right or left side dont matter, like Ron said create a top front back and bottom template.
dont use default back and bottom as they flip. make a simple solid box and use a solid face to set planes

Flycut

Is there then a quick way to toggle between these planes with a hot key?

mayday

not that I know of, I undock the plane manager and put it on the other screen. Easy to toggle

Sometimes it's just nice to know I'm not missing somtehing.

Viewsheets will make things SO much easier.

Isn't it just Bottom that flips?

I fought view sheets for the longest time, but that have matured nicely. We still have no view sheet manger like we don't have groups in the Levels manager either, but what a huge time saver view sheets are.

Start by having it open in mill and not design. Try to make up a MMD with the layout like you want, then need to have that MMD be what Mastercam opens with in the defaults. Since I jump between so many different types of machines my default is design to start with.

5 or 6 versions.

Not so bad considering I'm stuck in 2020 and spent a few years on Gibbs.
