Yep,that's what happens when snowflakes melt. They are completely unable to ignore or shrug off things that they disagree with.
You can thank the umbrella and helicopter parents that "raised" these brats. Always getting their way, telling the kids multiple times per day how proud of them they are, time-outs instead of the belt across the ass, everything they don't like is considered bullying,participation trophies, etc... and like I've said before the anonymity of the internet and growing up without accountability.

There is a case for Twitter to sue for damages beyond the 1 billion contract clause.

When advertisers start to realize they are paying billions to advertise their products to bots that never buy anything
they will abandon Twitter in droves.
I read an article this morning that was saying Twitter stock could fall to $11/share in the fallout from this busted deal.
That's A LOT of damages..and give how corrupt and biased our courts are, Elon could take a really big hit.

I heard a smart investor say Twitter was worth maybe around $20/share.
There is also a case to be made with this downturn the Elon deal was the only thing supporting a shit company from tanking with the rest of the tech market. So I can't see a jury awarding the difference between 54.20 and 20. But Twitter could make up some bullshit of harm that they invested in XYZ in anticipation of a sale that sisn't go through.
Elon's inquiry for more information from Twitter is a bullshit negotiating tactic. I'm not convinced the bot thing is as big as it's being made out to be. Totally open to change that opinion based on good info.

If Elon was just some unknown right leaning CEO or owner I would totally expect a crooked hack Dem judge doing everything in their power to stick it to him. However Elon has too many followers, he has too much reach for them to railroad through a court. Sadly nobody cares or is paying attention to the J6 show trials. You can be assured there would tons of coverage of a Twitter vs Elon trial.
