Wait for it.(Saturday)

My Luxurious 1 Bed apt. comes in a 4 pack. My neighbor on my side is a non issue.(Darla)

The two upstairs apts. Josh and Jessica above me and Corwin above Darla.

Josh and Corwin Both Felons.

First two years not too many probs But, Corwin started to slip his old buddy bikers started showing up.

last six months have been Hell. Traffic for a few apts. Was getting loud.

Corwin got popped in Illnois 15 to 100 grams of Meth and LSD.

Soo he was evicted but shows up every weekend. bringing his Buddies up to J and J's apt.

I have not had a full nights sleep in months.

Anyhow Saturday morn there is a knock on the door. Jessica locked herself out of the apt. and wanted to know if I would help.

She smiled at me.

Early 30's attractive Blonde.(Before)

Her teeth were gone, just nubs and shards a funky green and yellow on her teeth and sores all over her legs and arms.

I'm pretty sure they are cookin up there.

Sounds like someone is hammering and grinding at 1,2,3 A.M.

I figure the hammer Tap,Tap,Tapping for an hour is them crushing cold pills and the grinding may be Lithium batteries being opened, They have Fans in all the windows open and running at full and it is still 40 degrees here.

On special nights it sounds like the have a 5 gallon bucket in the bathroom full of ice and they are swirling it and bouncing it off the bottom of the tub.

On other nights it seems like the are moving furniture and Vacuuming.

Yes 1,2,3 A.M.

I have researched a little but what scares me is the Acetone or Gasoline for the cook.

Anyone have experience with this?

I'm doing everything I can to avoid any confrontation.

Move. You are being exposed to all of those chemicals. Then call the police.

You need to GTFO
The whole 4plex could turn into a fireball if they have accident
Some friends could stop by to rob the place and kill everyone they find.
The cops could raid the place, hit the wrong door and shoot you dead.
You could breath enough byproduct to decide smoking some meth was a great
idea... and the toothless blond was smokin' hot.
Your neighbors will eventually hit hard times and rip you off.
Hopefully they are pussies and will just burgle you, but they could also kill
you for $20 and a 6 pack of beer.
I can't think of a single reason you should stay.
It's definitely time to move

Jeff

Call the po-po before those guys turn the building into rubble, with you on the bottom of it.
Does the landlord know or care?

neurosis

This story reminds me of my youth.

If you can, I'd probably find a new place to live.

I'm not sure what the police could do without some probable cause other than just watch the place. What happens in the mean time?
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

+1 on move as fast as you can. As for calling the cops, I unfortunately don't trust cops enough to ever call them. They may just blow you off. They may accuse you of being part of it. They may try to force you to get more intel. You never know what type of cop is going to show up when you call. IMO, not worth the chance involving the police unless you need a report for insurance or you can explain a dead body and don't need to dispose of it yourself.

YES, MOVE

Doug, I think that is terrible advise IMHO.  Would you not feel guilty if you could have at least done something to help stop/arrest them???
That's just scared mentality

When I was 23 one of my roommates committed a crime. When the police showed up at our apartment there was one cop that was dead set that I did it. He was all in. Didn't even say a single word to my roommate. There was evidence that if they looked into it would have cleared me right away, but the cop knew me from previous interactions. Specifically there was a security camera where they said the crime happened. They never looked at it. They had me in "the room" for an hour grilling me. I told my public defender about the evidence, he was just angry because I wouldn't take a deal. He said I would need to hire a lawyer if I wanted to fight it. I spent 40+ days in Las Angels MCJ before they finally reviewed evidence to go into pretrial. They then claimed that the evidence was accidentally destroyed and dropped the charges. In that 40 days my roommates got evicted and took all my stuff. I got out of jail with about $200 dollars and the clothes I got arrested in. Luckily I had an uncle in the area that took me in.

About 10 years ago my wife's brother was getting divorced, messy situation. His ex was at his apartment with another couple getting some of her stuff. My wife was there also. My wife was photographing everything per her brother's lawyers request. The other woman didn't like it. She punched my wife in the mouth. My wife called the cops. When the cops showed up they went and talked to the other couple first. Then they talked to my wife. The cop had already made up his mind and told my wife the other woman said she  was trying to block her from being photographed. Then he told my wife she shouldn't have been there and he wouldn't file assault charges. The next day we called the local DA, they told us we needed to go to the police department and file a report. We did. When we got there they just called the officer from the scene in and he threatened to arrest me for disorderly if we didn't leave.

Not every interaction I have had with the police has been bad. I have had two times dealing with them, with our kids, since moving to the small town we live in now. Both times they were great. I don't think every cop is bad, but you never know which one is going to show up.

Yup, for your own good & safety, you have to get the hell out f Dodge...

Get out, get gone, then call the popo, hell, from a payphone if you can find one....hell, I might spend the $30 on a burner and dump it afterwards

Shazam/TPP

with all the shit your ex has caused you (she hears about this and may claim you were part of it), JP and Doug make sense, call from a payphone or burner  :sofa:

get as far away from that situation as you can. METH is nasty shit. it makes people think irationally and chaos soon follows.
once you distance yourself dont hesitate to drop an anonomous tip to the cops. the crap ruins society values in every way.

People that deep into the meth life cannot be helped.
They have to make the decision to live a different life, then you MAY be able to help.
Very few reach that point... most die young.
The ones who have the best chance of escaping that life are women with young children.
Some find the will to drag themselves out of that life for the sake of their children.
