Never made it as a wise man
I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing
Tired of living like a blind man
I'm sick of sight without a sense of feeling.

An illegal arms trafficker for an idiot court jester... seems like a fair trade.

Seems like Joe Bidet and his shitbird of a son Hunter are the real ones in the bag for Russia.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Quote from: YoDoug on December 08, 2022, 07:56 AMI would love to know how Candice Owens really feels. I've said before I don't like the "institutional racism" catch all phrase, but our society is not some truly color blind utopia. There are real issues that exist.
I contend that there are racial issues in nearly every single nation on the planet. No nation/society/people are completely colorblind. NOBODY says that part out loud. Because only white american conservative males can be racist... according to leftists anyway.

You mention Candice. What about Amala Ekpunobi? What about Larry Elder? What about Condoleeza Rice? What about Thomas Sowell (arguably the smartest economist that still walks amongst us)? Ben Carson. Allan B. West. Colin Powell. I could go on, and on, and on, and on. Successful people of color that are conservative, that argue some of the same points and some different points, yet are united in that this is the greatest nation on earth with the greatest opportinities for EVERYONE. That is an indisputable fact. Born here. Immigrate here. Makes no difference. You can start with nothing and become just about anything you want. There are exceptions... no 5'2" person is going to play in the NBA no matter how good their jump shot is, no 120lb football player is going to make an NFL roster, etc... But beyond things like that, anyone can start their own business. Good employees can work themselves up the ladder. Driven people can succeed.

Jose Hernandez... it took him 11 or 12 tries to get into the Astronaut program. After about the 3rd try he took a hard look at what the people making had that he didn't. Along the journey he earned Advanced Degrees, became a pilot, became a diver, and learned to speak russian. It would have been SO easy for him to say "it's because I'm mexican", but it wasn't and he didn't.

Jonny Kim, korean kid from Los Angeles, came from a fucked up home life and I'me being conservative, a life I'm not so sure I would have made it out of... US Navy Seal, Medic, Doctor, pilot, US Astronaut.

There are tens of millions of examples where not white and not male people have become exceptional in their chosen fields. They all overcame obstacles. They all pursed their dreams. NONE blamed the color of their skin for any adversities they faced.

It's long past time to stop blaming the color of one's skin on their lot in life and instead start looking at the choices people make. Some people are going to have a harder road than others. That's just a fact of life EVERYWHERE.

Work harder, nobody cares about the color of your skin. Can you do the job or not. That's what they care about.
