Mighty Viper

any one have experience with these machines. pro's con's? comparable to?
our company is looking at a couple VMC vipers. I am not familiar with them at all.

my employer bought a Mighty Viper 5X mill in 2011.
He had a one year right of return built into the contract and availed himself of that right on day 364.

thats what i am hearing. these are used machines too. argh

maybe I know someone that has worked with these specific machines personaly, they are local. always possible they got a good one. does not sound like quality control was priority with mighty??

unless i find solid evidence these are an exception am going to suggest they pass but I am pretty low in the decision making in this company.

Haven't heard much about Mighty Viper, but what I have heard isn't great.
If it's a machine that will specifically run a crappy material like G10, it may be worth it.
Otherwise I'd advise them to steer clear.

but if it was I would listen to the mastercam gods and run from it.
