I got tons of amazed comments about how fast I was.

The only amazed comments about how fast I am come from my girlfriend.

I'm not sure that it's a compliment.   :D

Since Mastercam started, you could only do "tangent arcs, that are connected to a tangent or perpendicular line", when using Lead in/out.

Recently, the Lead In/Out "Arc Sweep" parameter, has been enhanced, to now allow a Negative Sweep Angle. This option is used to allow the tool to "roll into the cut", but in your case, you can use it to "round the corner", of a single straight line.

However, it is not as straight-forward, as you might desire, but it will work.

Use a Negative Arc Sweep, to reverse the Arc Entry, and use the Lead In/Out "line", to give your cutter the "approach and exit" moves, from the reversed entry/exit arcs.

NOTE: for this to work, your Entry/Exit Arc Radius, must be equal to your Tool Radius, or the tangency of that cutter versus the "line being cut", will end up in the wrong spot.

I tried to make it work the way you are describing but i don't think im getting it right.  Maybe a picture would help me.  If you can upload a picture of your lead in/out window that would be great.  Here is what i have.  its for a 1/2 endmill.  Thanks for the help

Nice!!  That eliminates the need to have the extend turned on.  So what i have will make a chamfer at the end of the open chain.  I still have not figured out how to do the radius.  Thanks JParis

Btw according to me mastercam forum this is now logged as an enhancement under R-25483.
