Any of you guys tried this out?

I've read reviews on a few  second monitor apps. Some free and some not.  I'm trying to find one that doesn't lower fps or isn't super laggy.  Spacedesk is free and easy to use, but you take a huge graphics hit to use it. The plus is that you can use multiple tablets and I plan on using two.

Some of the paid software I haven't tried but am willing to spend a few buck for something that doesn't suck.

Wired XDisplay looked good until I found out they want you to spend a fortune to add a second tablet if you want three displays for some reason.

superDisplay looked good, but is also limited to a single tablet.

I've been looking at usb screens.  They seem a little expensive for what they are but they might work.  I think that those are just plug and play and you don't have to worry about lag.

I have a couple of old android tablets laying around. That's why I was curious about those. They are only 10' but they would work for a side screen.

I just got given a 15" USB travel screen and it is pretty great. Very slim, and just a USB C cable is needed or you can use the USB C for power and HDMI for display. I use the HDMI so it uses my graphics card vs the onboard processer. I've been using it without any issues for the last few weeks on a work trip.

I was in the same boat a couple of years ago.  Tried the tablet thing with a few different programs to sync it to my setup.  just could not deal with the lag.  some programs had more lag and some less.  but any lag was driving me crazy.

I just stopped messing around and bought one of these

No lag.  nice big screen.  way better

I use it as a 4th monitor on my home office setup and as a 2nd monitor when im mobile.

17" portable

This is what I would want. I use 3 monitors and have two USB C posts so I could still use my main and two of them.
