All they've said is the driver was a 22 year old male and he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
He was driving the wrong way on a one way street.

The speed limit was 35. The SUV was going 55 to 60 mph at impact

Maybe they should invest in a track like high schools have..

I regularly watch high speed car chases in LA, not the safest streets to be jogging around..

One of the things about Kommieforniastan that is different from many other states... you can do a Lotta bad stuff... hit pedestrians and that's a huge deal. Of course since these are LE recruits, they don't count as people so the driver is probably gonna walk.

They tried to recall the LA DA this year.
They collected more than enough signatures to get it on the ballot, but
the Registrar of Voters rejected enough of them to disqualify the ballot.
Of course he waited till the last moment to disqualify the recall so there was no time to
get more signatures  I think the only city government more corrupt than LA is Chicago... or maybe New Orleans
