I have and I completely disagree!!!

My mom died of Ovarian Cancer it was very painful for her. My Dad died several years after a stroke left him paralyzed on the left side. They gave me the greatest gift of living through that suffering with dignity, that they could ever have given. they both showed me how to live a life of courage, convictions, grace and mercy through it.

but the problem is not just that a person should be free to choose. the problem comes from the fact that, that freedom to choose is just a stepping stone to the decision being made for you. Similar to the Abortion issue that I have talked about so much. where the mother of a pregnant daughter insists on her daughter getting an abortion against her will. It will also happen with assisted suicide. People will take the decision away from the afflicted and decide "they need to go". It will evolve from "He has suffered enough" to "I have suffered enough having to tend to him"

or even worse, the Government who pays for the healthcare, deciding "We've paid enough, he needs to go"

The more the extremist of the left party keeps pushing, the more I find myself leaning farther right. I used to be very libertarian on social issues. I thought it wasn't my place to speak on abortion. I thought it wasn't my business if gay's wanted to get married. Meanwhile the left never stops pushing left. Now it's transgender indoctrination of children, every kind of possible abortion, etc. Same with race issues. While I don't like the term institutional racism, I have always thought we lived in two different societies. however the left now plays the race card on everything and calls me a racist if I don't agree with them 100%. I've said this before, the left is trying to force the majority of people to go along with their extremism and it is not going to end well. It makes the alt choice end up being the opposite extreme.

By today's conservative standards, anyone to the left of Steven Bannon is a RINO.

Even then, you'd have to point out any of who could even be considered 'middle of the road conservatives' (RINO's) that have voted for any bill that you would consider to be in support of the far left agenda. I'm kind of in a bubble up here in the NorthWest but I haven't seen it.
