I'll bet the lunatic left is losing their shit right now

No functional difference...

She expects to keep he committee assignments...that tells me she'll caucus with the Dems still...

Chalk it up to a distinction without a difference

I think she's putting out the word that the left's radial agenda is not getting through the Senate with her help

The talking point from the left is that she is only doing it to win reelection in 2024, not because she doesn't agree with their crazy left policies. Funny though, in a state with fully rigged elections, why would she worry about that. The left will put up a far left looney in 2024 and rig the election. IMO, political suicide by her.

Since she crushed the left's anti filibuster fever dream in 2021, I seriously doubt she could survive a primary
challenge in 2024, Now that she's quit the Lunatic Left Party, it's a near certainly she'll be primaried, and lose.
If I were her, I'd be doubling up on body guards. Should she die in the next 2 years, the new Dem governor would appoint her successor.

Was she ever *really* a Democrat?
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

No, and she readily admits that.

Not much is going to change in the short term. She's going to continue to do her own thing.

As far as her long term political goals it seems some Arizona dems believe she's not representing them the way they want to be represented so they were working to oust her in the primary. Now they'll have to do it in the general election.
