Is anyone getting the entire week off between Christmas and New Years?

Any plans for the holidays?

I'm going to try to get up to Leavenworth, Wa after the New Year. They have a pretty awesome Christmas display and have events through February.

I'm working thru the holidays, as I usually do. It's nice and quiet so I'll save my vacation until it's warm or I can go somewhere warm.

We'll have the usual Christmas get together with the families. It will be a little smaller than usual because my brother and sister have moved south and probably won't come up for this holiday. I'm a little sad about that.

That's a nice photo, it looks like a lot of fun.

Getting that time of the year off isn't easy...with all the prep & pressure that goes into getting everything ready for the Shot Show in a few weeks....it is what it is.

It's pretty awesome up there. It's a Bavarian village so it is kinda neat to go hang out during the holidays.

Just got through a big push for my biggest client, pulling super long hours and getting my sleep schedule all turned around.  I'm taking a few days to recover, probably going to go visit my brother and bring presents.

There is no such thing as a real day off, but most people are out for a week if not two around the holidays at least..

I get that week off (paid holiday); I go back on the 3rd. Nothing planned but visiting family.

I don't take the time off. It's usually quiet for the next 2 weeks so I use the time to get some items knocked off my work to-do list that I usually can't get to. I've got a few FANUC tests to run also.

We get next 2 Fridays off, that's plenty of time for recreation.

Friday and Monday. We are slow right now so maybe I'll throw another day in. It will be without pay because I had a tough 6 months earlier this year and burned all my vacation and sick time. I hate using sick time when I'm actually sick. 😛

We have Monday off, other than that I will be working. I still have 4 vacation days left but we can rollover up to five so I am going to keep them for next year.
