I believe I can confidently say that we have a fair bit of equipment on the ground over there...don't know that for sure but with the amount that's been sent, I find it hard to believe we do not.

There's been considerable effort to arm Ukraine's snipers since 2017. That year, the Trump Administration sent Ukraine a sizeable number of Barrett M107A1, .50-cal. rifles, along with Savage 110 rifles in .338 Lapua Mag.

I can personally confirm the effectiveness of the Savage 110 platform chambered in .338 Lapua at long ranges. It's a great platform. Not as nice as an Accuracy International, but it's about $9,000 cheaper so there's that.
