I personally like the KIND brand cinnamon oat clusters with flax seed. Sometimes I put a little almond milk in it. Sometimes I mix it in dairy free yogurt. Sometimes I just eat it plain. As far as employee ownership, I got nothing to add to that discussion.

I worked at an ESOP place once. The people that had been there for years when the stock was low, were then sitting on a lump of $$$$.  One company in town that was employee owned sold last year, bunch of millionaires overnight....

No fable, the guy was a long time employee with them bought up a lot of the others making it sound like a sweet deal to the un suspecting. The company sold and he made out. He pissed a lot of people off. As Rstewert posted the old timers that held out made out.

made the news quick too

Anyone here go through an ownership change to ESOP before? I haven't - excited to see what it entails.

are you the one holding the guitar? careful of the guy that wants to buy all your stock/stake in the company.

our QM worked at a place that had an ESOP, and he bought up some coworkers shares (he dicked them).

Our ESOP doesn't allow for that to happen, the structure is quite sound. None of us will be millionaires overnight unless we made some great years of profits and the company gets sold. Overall it's a pension plan that our owners paid a large majority of their ownership into to give us all a healthy start.
