No he got the quote to demo the old pad and was like 'Fuck it, let the Starship take care of it'

It's easy to monday morning quarterback. I saw that the decision not to deal with exhaust goes back to a 2020 Elon tweet. Now that's a special kind of stupid, way beyond Thiokol gaskets.

When the company puts it out there to be Monday Morning Quarterbacked then they get exactly what they are asking for. Just saying.
