Dealing with old parents

I feel for you Del. back your wife best you can and somewhat keep emotions in check.
was sole caretaker in my home of my mom for 3 years until she was wheel chair bound and forced into assisted living. thats a chapter in my life I could have done without. oh and sibblings? expect to see true colors.

They have already ganged up on the wife. Just upset her worse than I ever saw her for weeks.

Fortunately if I live long enough my daughter has stated she will smother me with a pillow after 3 days of being incoherent. So I got that going for me.

So long as it's a MyPillow, can't die at the hands of those other heathens.

I have two of his pillows. They came with a mattress topper we got a few years back. It's also kinda junk but it isn't as bad as those worthless pillows.   

I gave one of the pillows to my cat to use as a cat bed.

My mom died suddenly and my dad was lucid up until about a week before he died. My mom's sudden death was quite traumatic for me, but I didn't have years of pain and heartache to go through.

This is similar to my experience. Both my parents went suddenly and were self sufficient before their deaths.
