So last week we were sitting in the living room watching TV. All of a sudden we heard two big woomps loke you may get when lighting a grill with a match when the gas has been on for a little bit. Just much bigger. Looked out the window and my neighbor's house a little ways up the street was in flames. Well come to find out her nephew who lives with her got into an argument with her and lit the house on fire after assaulting her. He has been arrested and charged with assault on a person over 60, arson and attempted murder. She got out safe but everything is pretty much gone. To top it off the next night someone went into the burnt out house and stole her jewelry. She is a nice lady who keeps her house and property in good shape. A GoFundMe has been set up for her. All the houses here are split levels. All have 2 car garages underneath. The story is that he splashed gas all over the inside of the garage and lit it. That picture is what I saw from my house and is where the garage was. Even sadder his young daughter lived there and he did this in front of her then jumped in his car with her and took off. They caught him within about 15 minutes.
