Convinced the old lady we should watch Longmire instead of Hallmark Christmas movies on an endless loop.

Just binged the first season of Reacher on Amazon prime.  Those of you who hated Tom Cruise being cast as Jack Reacher because of his tiny size should enjoy Reacher.

I liked it. But that dude will always be Thad Castle of Blue Mountain State to me.

I've been watching "Discovery" on Paramount+. It's a Star Trek series set Ten years before the original Star Trek. I just watched an episode where in the "Previously on Discovery" they recapped the parts of the original episode featuring captain Pike from what 1966? using original footage. Anson Mount the actor who starred in Hell on Wheels plays Pike in the new episode.

I'm a bit of a Sci-Fi nut and I've watched the original series a number of times. Wow, special effects are sooo much better now.

Binged the series, I had it figured out almost immediately who was who. But it was good.
I also liked the Tom Cruise movies of Jack Reacher.

I enjoyed the Cruise movies as well, but I knew that his size was a common complaint among those who had read the books which is the only reason I made that comment.  As far as this series goes, I fully enjoyed it and can't wait for season 2.

My wife & I binged the whole thing as well.  I enjoyed it, they got the build of Reacher and his quick wit pretty spot on.  Even though it's been years since I read that first book, to my recollection it seemed to follow the story line pretty good.

I hope there are many seasons to follow.

I read an article stating that this first season covered the first book The Killing Field, so they said by that logic we should hopefully get 12 seasons, which is fine by me.  Although it would be nice to have more than 8 episodes, it ended too quickly for me.

I agree, I would have liked it to have been at least a 10 episode season.

If you are a Reacher fan, keep an eye out for this series coming in the spring...

The Terminal List - Everything We Know So Far

The books are great and Antoine Fuqua is the director. He directed Training Day, Tears of the Sun, etc.

The books are VIOLENT and GRAPHIC. The author claims they were not watered down for the series, so expect a bloodbath.

May want to check your link, cause that didn't lead to anything about The Terminal List...
