What I don't understand, is Trump knows that. It's not like it's some new revelation. It's been going on since 2016. Why would he intentionally put himself in the crosshairs? You'd think that he would do everything he could to cover his butt at this point.

Most everyone knows that the previous Presidents have done the same thing and they weren't targeted so "why is he"? The opposition knows Biden is going to lose a lot of votes and the only way he can have a chance to win is to take Trump out. Right now the task is to take him out through the court system. If that doesn't work the opposition basically has only one more choice and that could start a civil war.
