1. Boston tea party was people opposing tyranny = J6 protests of fraudulent election.
2. England responds with levies/regs of tyrannical gov to crush opposition = J6 trials with kangaroo courts designed to scare any opposition.
3. We are here.....

It took a few years from that point to get to the declaration of independence and full blown revolutionary war.

A little comparison. The Boston tea party was organized and executed by a group of founding fathers known as the Sons of Liberty. They included Samuel Adams, John Adams, Paul Revere, John Hancock, and more. They were an organized group of dissidents that practiced civil disobedience, up to and including violence. These people are now considered American heroes responsible for our freedom. Flip to today, our media and gov has gone full attack mode, both in the corrupt courts and in the complicate media, against the Oathkeepers/Proud Boys/etc. They are using the full weight of gov agencies to demonize and imprison these groups. Why is that?

Here is some easy listening (first hand account) for anyone wanting to get a revolution started. just in case you have any illusions as to what it looks like.

and another from the civil war, southern perspective.

I for, one, would prefer to win with reason, than with gun powder because, so often, the winner of the spoils, spoils the winnings and more often than not, dictators are defeated by worse dictators.

How do you win by reason when those in control are not bound by truth, they control media, elections, and the courts?

the question to ask yourself, is how would you govern, if/when you win? Are you going to make sure that the people you disagree with, no longer control the media? Are you going to make sure that the courts no longer have judges who would agree with a leftist? If you're answer to those questions is yes, then you just replaced corruption with corruption.

That's why I say the question you should ask is, How do you plan to govern that would eliminate the corruption we now have?

Quote from: YoDoug on September 25, 2023, 05:37 AMWith the extensive corruption of gov and the fraudulent state of elections, We will have one of two outcomes. Either a civil war or we are subjects of big gov/ultra wealthy tyranny. My fear is we are at a point where too much of the population will just comply. The younger generation has been indoctrinated since elementary school. They are brainwashed to think gov is their saviors from the ultra elite. The boomers are too afraid of losing their comfortable lives/retirements so they just stick their head in the sand. I don't know whether it will be a year or two, or a decade or two, but our freedoms and rights will be drastically changed. As Jefferson said "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants".

Not the same as a hijacked plane full of innocent people hitting a building full of people, most of whom are staffers and support.

The purpose of a revolution would be to restore our constitutional liberties. However your question is very valid. Unfortunately the answer to that goes down a very dark path. Ultimately for our constitutional freedoms to work it requires a morally adequate society. How do we know that those in power after a revolution will not be as corrupt as those in power before? I think that gives even more credence to Jefferson's famous quote. He stated "from time to time" as to say that the battle against corruption and evil will be repeated. You don't simply win freedom, you must protect and restore it when needed.

And with that said, I'm sure my posts here today have probably triggered some google/big gov algorithm and bumped me up James level on some watchlist.

Not me, no affiliations. I see no benefit to being a part of a group like that.

Even if there were member here associated with those groups, with corrupt DOJ making up charges for their members and FBI trying to entrap them regularly, will they even admit it.
