Thinking about this, you actually make the case that the J6 protest was necessary for the protestors to make their case. because if they didn't protest, they didn't care. I may have to change my opinion on the j6 protests after all.  I have to hand it to you on your persuasive arguments.

My belief, for what it's worth, is that the protestors were strung along and used in an effort for their respective politicians effort to stay in power. Pawns in a power struggle.

Wow, damn, I guess that answers my question below....it's just a political demonstration to Republicans, even a relatively realistic Republican.

I gotta say I'm mildly disappointed.

Moving past that, was there an election near the time that the(se) nefarious Democrat(s) politician(s) were trying to influence by stoking undeserved protests about a cop kneeling on the neck of a man who had been subdued and rendered helpless until he was dead?
