That's the same here but with pheasants.

The blizzards of the late 70s early 80s wiped out pheasants up here.

I wish the DNR would invest the effort in pheasants that they did with turkeys. You can throw a rock into our woods and hit likely hit a turkey. I've seen one pheasant on our land in the last 20 years.

Yeah, I've had to wait for around 100 turkeys crossing the road and going into a driveway. I'm guessing they were being fed there.

I'm guessing that you won't have to worry about that after next week.  ;)

Yeah, with deer season starting today I'll have another animal to watch out for. Half of our shop is gone.

It's the same around here, deer season hits and half the guys are up at beer...I mean deer camp.

As for aging just remember that time wounds all heels. Or is it the other way around.

Now you have my brain tied in a Celtic knot because I can't decide if that joke was really funny or really bad.

Being on the verge of a food coma after our Thanksgiving lunch doesn't help.  :)

Del.

My wife had surgery yesterday. They removed 2 feet of her large intestine due to diverticulitis. She spent 8 hrs in recovery because they had no rooms. During surgery they cut into her bladder and she was passing blood in her urine. This morning she fainted while sitting on side of bed.Blood pressure was very low and heart rate very high. Rapid response team had to come in. She's been in ICU since this morning. Bleeding has stopped. Her numbers are looking better but they will keep her in ICU tonight. She will be here through the weekend.
