Most dog owners don't vax their dogs for kennel cough unless they are in the habit of boarding them on a regular basis.

It's not an issue for us because my wife and I have a dog, and so do all of our kids, so when anyone goes on vacation we always leave the dog with a family member.

I get our dane groomed regularly so she has gotten the kennel cough vax.  I hope to keep her from getting sick cause we love her, even though she is a giant pain in the ass lol.
