tried https://www.westernreservedistillers.com/">https://www.westernreservedistillers.com/ their 14 year old had beat Pappy's 15, wasn't bad but i feel
Weller's Antique 107 beats out the WSD 14 year old. Pappy is still the standard.

interestingly WSD's 12 was really good but didn't care for the 10 (more of a rye whiskey). the 4 year old for $40 was actually pretty
good.

:rant: Oh man.. I'm on a drinking hiatus for a few months.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

:lol:  No, I usually take a few month off from drinking a couple of times a year.  I don't drink at all during the week anyway, but on the weekends I tend to over indulge at times. I like to spend some time making sure I stay healthy now that I'm becoming an old fart.   :beer:

I saw that Western Reserve at a couple stores I stopped at in Ohio while travelling to Virginia and searching for Weller. I'd never heard of it and at the price, couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on it. Might have to snag a bottle next time.
