When I was an apprentice tool maker, everyone made there own stools out of sheet steel and bar. A favorite trick was to hang a piece of tape from the underside of the seat and light it on fire.

Another one involved our air nozzles. They were all driled oversize so they used full pressure. Our vending machine dispenced drinks in paper cups. If you put a rivet in your air nozzle, you could shoot it clean through the paper cup without moving it and watch the liquid begin to drain out of it.
