How many gallons of water do you guys use a month. I used 5000 gallons last month. It's not even pool or garden season yet. Seems like a lot for 2 people. No leaks.

5,000 gallons? In a month?  :headscratch:

Shut off all water use and watch your meter. If it turns at all you have a leak somewhere. Likely a toilet flapper.

46 gallons per person per day is the Oregon average, so that is a bit high I would say.

Jim at Gentex

Yeah that seems a bit high, Del. :headscratch:

But the national average is around 80-100 gallons per person per day, so you seem to be in that range.

You don't have to put fresh water in the bongs every day.

I would check the toilets and see if you have one not shutting off. It's amazing how much water a toilet can use when they keep running.

I used 3750 last month; I have to admit, though, I leave a small stream running in the shower for my cat to drink from. He prefers running water to a bowl. (When he was a kitten we had a leaky shower faucet).

I'm bad about brushing my tooth and leaving water running. 😂

I just check my last water bill. It says my wife and I used 27 gallons for the month. That seems way too low. :o
The bill was for $28.

It's a really big tooth.

Wait a minute; don't you brush your teeth by soaking them in Polident over night?

I could save a 1000 gallons a month if I peed in the yard.
