I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

You'd hate my state... so many large trucks as commuter vehicles... then again so many people here have trucks because they tow stuff. Toy Haulers, 5th Wheels, trailers, etc...

Back in the mid 2000's I had a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500 crew cab with a 8.1 Liter Vortec that got about 8mpg. I used it to tow my Jeep and it looked like a compensator.

I think the popularity of these trucks in Washington depends on which side of the State you live.  The east side need their Trucks.

Most of the dually trucks here that I see have 5th Wheel Adapters. That's for legit TOWIN'. 😊

100% true. Out of the 100 or so vehicles in our parking lot, I'd guess that 75% of them are full size pickups, and out of those 75%, I'd guess that 40-50% have a 5th wheel hitch.

My personal vehicle is a Ram 1500. Do I need a full size pickup all the time? No. Do I fit in a "regular" car without folding myself up into a pretzel? No. They just don't build cars for those of us that are 6'5", so a truck it is. Hell even most SUV's are too damn small.

I let my 16 yr old grandson drive my Ram 1500 last week a couple of times. He's still on his permit. He's
6'4" and weighs 300 lbs. Built like a NFL player. He filled that seat up like nothing I had ever seen.

Same here. In highschool I was 6'3" 300, and basically still am, just more muscle. First vehicle was an 1980 El Camino, that was the closest to a car I have ever owned. Hate the feeling of driving anything smaller for extended periods.
