You have that mis-labeled. It should read
Oregon defendants who do not have lawyer must be released from jail.

Anyone who has been in jail more than 7 days without having been appointed an attorney have to be released.

I wouldn't be able to take the poll honestly. I didn't watch, read, hear, anything of substance coming from the trial or any of the evidence.  I have no idea what happened during that entire trial other than he was convicted.
