Can you bend a solid model?

I still do a lot of solid modeling for an Investment Casting Foundry. They have a part that gives them problems during the casting process. Because of how it is gated and the fact that it is long and narrow, it will get a .050 bend to it. What I need is a way to put a bend in the solid model in the opposite direction. Pretty sure Mastercam cant do it, unless I don't see it. Anybody know how this can be done and still maintain a Parasolid or STEP format?

Thanks

Is it possible for you to split the model and move edges?

Sorry I'm trying to share a screen shot from my google drive. it doesn't look like it's going through.

Complete shot in the dark here. Can you convert the solid to surfaces, bend the surfaces, then convert back to solid? This would probably just make a mess, but I know you can bend surfaces, not so sure about bending solids

This is what the part looks like. I have a an exact radius and center that the part needs bending to. I think it really needs to be done in a solid format.

Here is the part:

Hi Lee:

TopSolid has got some functions for deforming solids, but I've only ever played around with them (I haven't realized the need to actually use them).

I would be happy to give this a try if you are able/comfortable sharing the model. No guarantees, but it could be interesting to see what happens.

Cheers, Brian

Is it an additional module or?

I know that SW comes with some sheet metal bending addons.  I haven't looked deep enough in to TS to see if it has anything bendy.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I *believe* it is part of the CAD package regardless of which modules you have, but I'm not certain. I think the sheet metal commands are part of the "pro" design package, not the basic package.

I've only played around with this-haven't taken the time to use it for real work yet.
