My boss just told me to check out this web site.
Apparently we're losing some of our bigger parts to these guys.

ABS Machining

I can see why.. 6 different plants 80+ big machines.
Some of the parts I consider big are not big at all to these guys
Looks like a real nice shop

I wonder what software they are using??
I would guess NX, but that's only a guess.

80in diameter 5ax impellers,.. Shit I am such a pussy LOL
Currently working on programming my largest 5 axis part,.. a 14" x 2.65" 316SST part, and it's been stressing me out hahaha  :wallbash:
I just really enjoy running a nice "fist-sized" part, I've been spoiled for far too long.

A video states "proprietary software" but I would imagine that's not for CAM  :headscratch:

Could be TurboCAM... It's rare enough in the wild it could be called proprietary and not be too far from reality.

Fusion360 and Mastercam 2026 - CAM

Per their job listing for cnc programmer it looks like they are using a combination of Mastercam 2017 and NREC

Minimum 10 years CNC programming experience
Knowledge of machining principles, tooling, fixturing and tool set up for large specialized machining.
General machinist certification an asset.
Fluent in MasterCam.
Strong turning experience, knowledge of Concepts NREC is an asset but not required.
Challenged daily in working with large complex & fabricated components, where material variation and conditions require an analytical approach to machining of product.
Ability to read & interpret blue prints, drawings, charts & tables.
Motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

They are in Mississauga Canada it says on the website, really close to my house (less than 30 miles). Adding that they have plants in Brampton and Burlington as well, also really close to my house.
