I'll never have an issue with people trying to preserve the environment.  My disconnect, as I've said before, is a hand full of States in the US convincing their constituents that taxing them out of their lives is going to some how make a dent in "climate change". 

Me neither. All the plastic dumped in the oceans etc is a disgrace - especially as LOTS comes from us anyway. It's just/was "offshore recycled".
And don't get me started on every river in the UK being toxic, because of all the raw sewerage being daily pumped into it.
But, as for all the rising sea level CO2 BS

I've read that 90% of the plastic in the oceans comes from China and India.
They buy all the recycled plastic US consumers collect, pick out the good stuff and thrown the rest
into the rivers... and it ends up in the ocean.
That sounds simplistic but I am pretty sure no one in the US is legally dumping plastic.
Even if there were people doing it illegally that wouldn't account for the volume of plastic currently
getting dumped in the oceans.

I'll be 70 in a couple of weeks and I still do pullups daily.
It gets harder all the time though.
Maybe I'll just start wearing a house robe.
Then I will no longer need to pull up my pants.
