I stopped worrying about it a long time ago.  I feel like I've lived a pretty full life. I don't want to spend the rest of my life worrying about things I can't control.  I'll just enjoy it while I can and when it's my time, go out gracefully.  lol.  I know that sounds cliche. 

If the cancer were to ever metastasize I wouldn't get it treated. Voluntarily poisoning yourself doesn't sound like a fun way to go out. I might develop a few new addictions for a short time.

$8000 sounds way expensive for an MRI. I recently got one on my brain for under $1000. I have insurance but haven't met my deductible yet.

I understand what you are saying about not worrying about it. I have a history of colon cancer and hear issues. it's to the point now that I go in every year for a colonoscopy so they can harvest my yearly crop of pre-cancerous polyps.

I'm about 10 or 12 years older than you, so I know that something will get me probably in ten years or less. I am more curious than afraid. I'm curious to see what the afterlife is like, and, I'm hoping to get some answers to questions like who was behind JFK's assassination and was Atlantis real.

What I really want the answer to is if Newbeee is correct in his conspiracy theories.

This is the cost for the entire visit. It also fluctuates in price usually costing more.  I get an abdominal scan with contrast. For the lungs, they do either an X-ray or a CT scan. It's been a while since I've had a CT scan. Then there is the blood work and the visit with the oncologist which usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour depending on what he has to say.

I was lucky. It was caught early enough that surgery was successful in removing the cancer ( and much of my large intestine) before it spread. I haven't had to see an oncologist (so far).

Although i have noticed a memory/confused issue in the last 2 weeks but she's up against it because of a fkin pedo nutter in her apartment block.
There is a ton of data backing up what to do and how to tackle it.
