Manufacturers will now only call them potato head as to not confuse children as to what sex they may be or choose to be.

To be fair, they just dropped the "Mr" off the brand name. There will still be a Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. Basically it will be "Mr (or Mrs) Potato Head made by Potato Head". The actual brand used to be Mr Potato Head, literally "Mr Potato Head made by Mr Potato Head"
