He immediately escalated it.
It amazes me how people treat police nowadays. I watch a lot of bodycam videos and the youth has zero respect for the police. A lot of them immediately start berating the cops. And you can bank on them saying "I didn't do nothin" and then whipping out the "I can't breathe" line once they're on the ground and getting cuffed all the while screaming at the top of their lungs "stop touching me!"


If Hill would have kept his mouf shut, he probably would have been let off with a warning. But his pride wouldn't give in when the cop knocked on his window and told him to put it down.
Were the cops a little too forceful? Perhaps, but that was all because of how it began.

Would I have done it this way? No.

He is required to provide License , registration and Insurance. That's it.

I would have just handed it over and shut up.

He chose Not to shut up. That is his right. He did Not refuse to obey a lawful command.

He just took his time ,which pissed off the cop.

It was a traffic Infraction.

There were 4 cops. Safety was not an issue to handcuff him and put him on the ground.

Not one of those cops was scared.

He was disrespectful and so were the cops.

The cops should be held to a higher standard. Training is Fundamental.

And the cop should have de-escalated the situation.

While he was handing over his I.D. He is not Required by law to keep his window down.

And he has the freedom in America to say what he Pleases.
