My wife and I are in FL this week working at the other shop. News says to get ready for a storm. Right now the projected path has us in the tropical storm zone. 50mph winds and 5+ inches of rain. If the storm decides to hang a right in the gulf it could get a lot worse. When the shop here was built it was supposedly hurricane proof. It has been through the two biggest hurricanes to ever hit FL and didn't flood or sustain any major damage. If it looks like we are going to get hit hard We'll be camping at the shop for a day or two.

It's gonna blow all of your food away! Might have to resort to meat.

I've always wondered what it was like in a hurricane. Could you stand out on the front porch and take video? Oh and turn your phone sideways for best quality.  ;D

Actually if the power goes out for a week, your fridge doesn't keep meat cold and no power to cook anything. Veggies will last and can be eaten raw if needed.

We went to Walmart and picked up about 10 gallons of water, fruit, veggies, nuts, and seeds for a week of minimal calorie eating.

I'm supposed to fly into Orlando on Saturday. I might get delayed in Atlanta.

We are supposed to fly home on Sunday. I'm hoping the airlines are back on schedule by then.
