QuoteBUTLER, Pennsylvania — Former President Donald Trump set the tone for the final stretch of the presidential race when he took to the stage here in Butler, turning away from the crowd for the briefest of seconds, just as he did 12 weeks ago, and said, "As I was saying."

Starting where he left off on July 13 before he was shot.

Was there really 100K people there?
Both campaigns accuse each other of bussing people to rallies and paying them to be there.
It's hard to know what the truth is.
However, you can be pretty sure they didn't bus 100K people in and pay them to attend.

Dang! I was listening to some Danny Gatton in another tab when I came across this thread title, and I had to do a double-take!

I read somewhere that this song was a sort-of backhanded dig on Roy Buchanan (like this is not your blues). The whole album is good-check it out!

Enjoy!

I have friends who were there who have also attended Penn State games with 100K people or more.
They were waaaaaaay toward the back of the crowd at the rally and they likened it to a full house game at Beaver Stadium.

Since Biden won PA in 2020 by less than 100K, that is a serious number for trump to have at a single rally.
He is coming to Scranton this week and I know more than a few people who will be going, and this is one of the bluest of blue counties in the state, other than Philly and Pittsburgh.

Don't count out the Dems in PA. Around midnight on Nov 5 they will kick out Republican poll watchers. Vans full of "mail-in-Ballots" will be delivered to Philly. They will keep counting behinds closed doors until Kamala gets 100K more votes than Trump, even if it is more than registered voters in PA. IMO, what needs to happen is all in-person voting centers need to delay reporting until the mail-in-steal votes are counted. Don't let them know how much they need to cheat.

That seems like it would be a decent idea. I still doubt it would do much, if anything, to raise voter confidence with the 'stolen election' voters.

And all ballots should have a serial number so every single voter can go online afterwards and actually see an image of their ballot and trust that it's being counted. And the system should be able to read the serial and if there are multiple of the same serial only one gets counted, to prevent photocopies being used. Then all ballots can be compared to the hard copies if needed. No extra ballots that "just showed up".

Or, your team could just get more votes than the other team instead of whining, for going on four years, that the election was stolen.

Guess what, folks? The election wasn't stolen. Get the fuck over it. Work on policy, not excuses. You are not victims.

Fuck.

Rational, intelligent, non-misinformed Americans are sick of your shit.

If the centers shut down in the middle of the night in 3-4 key states, and Kumbucket has a lead over Trump, and local elections are all favoring blue then 2 hours later when the power comes back on that lead both local and national is now a massive deficit, tell me you wouldn't be saying the same thing, and you'd be a liar.

Even when you have videos of people bringing in wheelbarrows full of ballots, videos of people running a ballot thru, then running it thru again, video of people bringing in suitcases full of ballots. All during that "shutdown".

The problem with that is voter privacy.

The only thing I know of that comes close to that is our provisional ballot system in PA.
If your name does not appear in the poll book, but you can prove you are registered in the district, you get a provisional ballot.

Those are distinctive green ballots that remain segregated from the regular ballots, and are sealed in an individual envelope by the voter to preserve their privacy.
That envelope has a unique tracking number the voter can look up later to see whether that ballot was counted.
If the county office determines you are indeed registered in that district, your ballot is counted.

Other than that, I think any kind of tracking numbers on ballots would compromise the privacy and anonymity of the voter.

It doesn't matter what they brought them in, it's that they were done without proper chain of custody and authentication/verification records.
