Mastercam licenses some of their technology... possibly going to further integrate more technology?

Maybe some of the features in the Vericut Utilities for Mastercam app will make it into Mastercam
so we can use them without installing an add-on.

That one would surprise me....buying a spreadsheet with the VB scripts....I dunno...

I would like to see them present something like Varco...more of a WYSIWYG interface...but they're probably break it with every new release

X+, that would be interesting as Gunther is with the German reseller and if they get taken over would it become property of Sandvik?

I am guessing unknown...as some deals so far have been specific and others not seemingly so...Opti-Pro...the Mastercam side only....Cimquest....looks like the remainder of Cimquests business interests are functioning separately..

Well I love using the X+ and have been thankful to have been able to keep using it. I appreciate Gunther's commitment to it and all he has done. If it became part of Mastercam's options and was included with our current maintenance that would be even better but I would hope it's development would still continue and Gunther would get the credit (& payments) he deserves.

Guess time will tell. I waiting to see when our local reseller makes their announcement or should I say Sandvik does.

I hope they incorporate Varco Reports, been using it for years.
Jim has done a fantastic job basically re-writing Active Reports.
So easily customizable to what you need.
And, sending tool info to Presetters.

The Plane Manager and Level Manger are totally new
Planes and Levels now include Groups and other new features
Most of these changes have been requested by users for years
Both are completely new and will come with a learning curve.
I think power users will love them.
