Given the republican opposition to raising the minimum wage, I'm glad it was put in so it could actually pass.

Every single Republican wants the minimum wage increased. Just not to $15.

If anything, minimum wage should be loosely tied to cost of living in the employers area. $15/hr goes a hell of a lot farther in Louisiana than it does in California.

Surely the companies that pay more will get their pick of the applicants and the companies that pay less will need to hike up their wages to get applicants. Certainly has to work better than letting corporations all sit at a base wage forever. Let the companies battle it out instead of the government trying to "save" us.

I invested my stimulus in about 165 pounds of copper and 200 pounds of brass.

Probably going to get myself another sidearm because it will make a skinny jean wearing soy latte drinking liberal cry.

Over 7,000,000 new gun owners in 2020 (According to NSSF). People finally figured out 911 is minutes away when seconds count. 2021 shows no signs of slowing down either so there's that.

"To put this into some perspective, the estimated 7-million new gun owners in the United States just since January (2020) is more than five times the size of our active duty military, which stands at about 1.3-million service members. The number of new gun owners is about ten times larger than the number of law enforcement in the United States, and is about seven times the estimated number of all gang members in the United States."
