I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Worst thing in the world??

The egg hits the floor.

You can't eat it.

And it's really hard to clean up. :D

We have three dogs and the little one knows she isn't going to be able to force her way past the others for spilled food so she is never far away when you are in the kitchen.

Why would your dogs be interested in kale scraps?

Or have you managed to convert them to vegan?

Went to Costco last night, no 5dozen cases, but 18packs were $7.

Our dogs love veggie scraps. As soon as they hear the knife hit the cutting board they come running.

We actually feed our dogs a mixed diet. We noticed just giving them dog food they really had a lot more health issues. Dog food is really not very good. We started giving them a small amount of mixed veggies with their dog food. Then we added in some brown rice. We also add in ground beef. They are at about 50/50 dog food and veggies/rice/ground beef. I prep about a week or two at a time. Refrigerate some and freeze some. Takes 20-30 minutes or so. Since doing it their skin issues cleared up. The older dogs are more active and don't look like they are riddled with arthritis. The oldest dog is slowly going blind. Since switching their diets the cloudiness in his eyes has diminished. We looked into some of those dog supplement powders or drops but the cost to give it to three dogs was considerably more than just supplementing whole foods in their diet.

I have heard of people switching their dogs to a vegan diet. I personally don't think it is best for them. It would be extremely hard though as their protein requirements are 2-3 times that of a human.

I'd rather eat like a dog in your house than a human.  :fun:

You are welcome to join us for dinner. I would even let you eat at the table rather than on the floor with the dogs.
