You do realize that even the headline begins "trump says he didn't".
So we have learned nothing.  Except cat-woman got sacked!

It is really difficult, once you have an idea fixed in your mind, to let go of that subjectivity i.e. that Trump is way worse than other administrations.
My wife will tell me some horror story about Trump, but when I go to verify the story, it usually winds up being a kernel of truth that has been wildly exaggerated or completely made up, similar to the way that a lot of stuff posted about Obama was.

I don't know, maybe my disdain for all politicians has skewed my objectivity. I think Trump is a classless egomaniac who wants to be a dictator. I think he wants to run the country the way he runs his businesses. And I don't think he is very smart.
But, I think all politicians are power hungry egomaniacs. I think they would all like to be dictators. Trump is just more open about it.

I may not agree with Newbeee about a lot of things. But I do agree that, at least in the modern era, we are screwed no matter who is in power.

That pretty much sums it up.  Hopefully the last sentence overrides the one preceding it.  Altho I always thought George II (W) was going to bankrupt the US, to F-over the Chinese holdings of the dollar.  Not very smart either, maybe that's why he wasn't able to do it.

We the people have been getting screwed for decades now. As the wealth goes to the top we've all been turned in to worker bees. And we like it apparently, as long as we're not the ones on the bottom.

Still, this administration, and by abdicating their oversight responsibilities the Republican party, have put the gas pedal to the floor. I'd prefer, as we the people, getting screwed slowly rather than pedal to the floor fast.
