California, home to a super-majority Democrat control (Executive, Senate and Assembly), meaning they do not need one single opposing party vote to pass ANY legislation... even tax increases which require a 2/3 majority vote.... get this... doesn't allow public discussion of bills. Imagine that.  I am just shocked I tell ya. Thousands of pieces of legislation proposed and passed every year, with little to no public input forced upon Californians from career politicians who have never worked real jobs in their entire lives.

That ladies and gentlemen is what they call mob rule.

And they are on pace to gain even more control.

The lunatics are truly running the asylum there.

Currently there are only 9 Republican Congressional Representatives in the People's Republik of Kommieforniastan.  By next year as of this date Democrats are fixing to make that ~4. In a state where there are more Republians than any other...

Brace yourselves America, you're about to get Kommifornicated one way or another.

Stole my thunder lol.

Anyway, as someone with real skin in the game, all I can say is that if California keeps adopting policies that not only encourage other nutters to flee the state with their tails between their legs, but also provokes them to post furious, emphatic, spittle laden rants on obscure internet forums, the state is moving in the right direction.

On a personal note: You okay Nutboy? Remember to take your meds, K?

Democracy in Cali

This is what a 2/3 majority gets the people of Cali, a rubber stamp legislature with bills written in secret.

Thanks for reposting the story Nutboy already posted, G!

You know Cali is on the right track if TWO of fleeMC's most vocal Nutters have their panties all in a bunch about it.

That being said G, since you have actual skin in the game, your thoughts on the matter are appreciated.  :)

One thing I forgot to mention, CalMatters is a non partisan publication.

In layman's terms, legislation in California is written and approved behind closed doors with no public oversite.
The public hearings are a formality as the results have already been decided behind closed doors.

So, they operate the same way the federal government does.

Actually no.

Legislation in DC is discussed everywhere. Legislation in the PRK is discussed ONLY behind closed doors.

:coffee:

That's not to say DC is clean, because we all know that is not the case. The PRK is just a banana republic masquerading as a state.

New Yorkers are about to get more than they bargained for, and get it good and hard, and possibly with some Sharia law sprinkled in for good measure.
