I wonder if drumpf needs one of those red carpet welcomes at our base in Greenland (Pituffik Space Base, formerly Thule Air Base) like they rolled for him (and Putin) at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska.

Maybe he doesn't know it is there since it was renamed between his fist and second terms.  Seems like that would meet the stated objectives of a deterrent and monitor to Chinese and Russian patrols.

Since China and Russia are in land/mineral/resource aquisiton mode, and have been for some time... as much as it disgusts me to say, I'm not sure we have any other choice than to do exactly that. 

I think we have more to offer than China or Russia, and I think we have a better chance at other nations joining us albeit grudgingly, nevertheless joining though.
