It made a major turn in 2011 with the Black Eyed Peas. Which, IMHO, was the worst show EVAH! 

It seems the half time show is for a different market than the game is. I kinda wonder if most of the people who like the Bad Bunny half time show even watch the game.

I think the bottom line is older people aren't the future NFL market. The young people are. So appealing to them might be good marketing?

Full disclosure-not a football fan (mostly not a spectator, generally—why watch when you can participate?), but if I wanted to listen to music I'd go to a concert!

The best thing about the halftime show was how it pissed off millions of Trumptards without them even knowing what they were pissed off about. I mean really, imagine being more upset about a halftime show in Spanish than about having a pedo for a president, or an administration that creates a gestapo that shoots innocent citizens in the back.

Best part was how BB celebrated all countries in the Americas, and not just the USA.
