I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

EU weapons expert said the same thing - no nuclear threat.

But anyone remember the Iraq war and the Weapons of mass destruction?
Where Dr David Kelly reported no weapons in his report and then he was found a little later suicided under a tree.... where the first responder's said absolutely no way Jose.... and err then the results from his post-morten were classified secret by the Gov for 70 years.... eh, move along now.... :sofa:

But drumpf's tiny orange dick felt threatened so he had to overcompensate with missiles.  Maybe we should call him 'little rocket man'.
Oh wait, that one's been taken.

Don't worry, Trump is smarter than the generals and that guy and anyone else trying to advise him.

Joe Kent seems to be an expert on "imminent threat", so where was Joe Kent on October 6th, the day before October 7, 2023, when Israel was attacked by Hamas, resulting in over 1,200 deaths and taking roughly 250 people hostage. Why didn't Joe Kent say something on September 10th, before the terrorists flew planes into the the World Trade Center, killing almost 3000 people?

In truth, Iran has been an enemy of the West for nearly 50 years. They have sponsored terrorism for at least that long. Their fingers are in many of the worst attacks on the West.
Iran has been developing nuclear capability, despite the talks and agreements with prior administrations.

These reasons alone would be enough to warrant bombing their facilities, however recent events have weakened Iran's military capability, so if regime change is a desirable outcome, the current moment-in-time is preferable than going against Iran at their most formidable power.

That said, I contemplate there's more at play in Iran and their nuclear program.

Iran is one of China's top oil suppliers, supplying roughly 13% of China's total crude imports. While the USA does not have a current need to squeeze China's energy market, it would be easier with a friendly regime at the helm of Iran if/when that day comes.

But only if I can get ahold of a couple to dive under with me - I wouldn't want to hide alone.  Plus then I don't feel so self conscious about trembling in fright all by myself - they're way more quivery than I.
