It looks like Cimco has dialed their Performance Pack up a notch
It predates Mastercam High Speed toolpaths by a couple of years.
I looked at it a couple of years ago but all it had were 3X toolpaths.
This release contains 5X toolpaths as well
I requested a trial license and I'll play with it over the Christmas break

They've put a lot of work into their Machine Simulation too

It might be a good substitute for Vericut for people on a budget

Maybe they'll get back with you on that.  I requested a trial of Cimco probing like two weeks ago. Crickets...

Yes I was very interested in the performance pack 15 years ago, but the customer service was so poor I decided not to do it.

I was looking at the probing package as well, but Okuma controls are not supported

I'm thinking the new performce pack probably isn't worth the cost if you already have the Mastercam 5X module

Interesting that they don't support Okuma for probing. They support Renishaw for Fanuc, Mazak, and Haas. Renishaw probing in an Okuma is so close to a Fanuc variant. Same macro numbers, same letters for variable inputs. Just slightly different for Okuma macro language. It wouldn't take much at all to modify a post for the correct output.

I've reached out to my local Cimco dealer for information.
Our Okuma MU-1000 has a really good Blum probing package on it
though we only use about 10% of it's capabilities.
We've got a dozen Fanuc and Siemens controlled machines that could benefit from a good probing solution.

I've kind of hit a wall with Mastercam Productivity +
Dave at Postability said he's got dirty tricks that can run it on the mill side of a mill turn machine
but my dealer is saying I need to go direct through Renishaw.

Prod+ only currently supports Renishaw brand probes and not blum so yea you would likely need to go another route.

I'm trying to get a probing package for a Mori Seiki NT6600 mill turn
It's got a Fanuc control
I mentioned our Okuma's because the Cimco probing package does not support Okuma's
That would be a black mark in the buy/don't buy decision making process
