I honestly don't think that physicians give two chits what Trump, Biden, Democrats, Republicans, say.

I'm asking this out of ignorance so bear with me.  :D   Which treatments have been banned by politicians?  Again, I haven't been following this very closely because the amount of horse manure that's been going around, it takes longer to weed through the crap than it's worth.

Here in MN, after Trump touted the effectiveness of Hydroxychloroquine, our governor made an emergency order banning doctors from using it to treat Covid. Purely 100% political and may have cost lives. Then nearly a year later, without any announcement or media attention, he reversed the ban. I don't know that it was/is and effective treatment or not, but I do know it should have been left up to doctors to decide, not a unilateral EO from a former high school administrator turned governor. He had no business getting involved in telling doctors how to treat Covid.

No argument there.

I remember when remdesivir was being heavily scrutinized.  My friend who ended up hospitalized recently got that treatment. I didn't know that it had been approved.

Even worse, they are blaming the unvaccinated for spreading the variants which is complete nonsense.

I agree with this as I posted an article not long ago that showed that break through infections are just as likely to spread the virus as unvaccinated.

They need to admit their vaccine doesn't work and move on.

I guess it depends on your definition of "works".   In Washington State, 96 percent of hospitalizations from convid are unvaccinated.  Something like 98% of deaths are.

It's hard to ignore those statistics unless, as yodoug keeps saying, you're low risk to begin with.

Can you trust the producers that is/are making that statement? We are getting Covid notices everyday from HR here that includes this building but our local hospital has a total of three Covid patients with one on a ventilator.

If you get a vaccine, then you get the virus the vaccine is supposed to prevent, then your vaccine DOESN'T work by definition.
That's all I'm sayin'...

Politicians who control the funding for the FDA, NIH, etc. are all playing fast and loose with the language, and the doctors in those organizations who know better still have to dance to the .gov tune or risk losing their funding.

This whole thing was politicized from day one to try to make Trump look bad.
Now it has taken on a life of its own to the point where people don't know who or what to believe anymore...

Seriously though, I would have loved to take a anti-body test to see if I really did have it in my system. Both PCR tests I took came back negative, but I was in direct exposure from my wife who did test positive.

I tested positive on Thursday.   I went to the dentist Monday and within three days I was sick.  This new variant is no joke.

I don't know if I've had Covid or not. I've never felt that I have had it but also not been tested. I thing that might in my favor is the four supplements that the CDC recommended for Covid I've been taking for many years. Does that give me an advantage? Who knows.

I thought that I had it earlier this year.  I never got tested. Judging by my experience yesterday I don't think that's what I had.

I had a dry cough Tuesday.  I get allergies so never thought much of it.  Wednesday I had a deep lung cough. I made an appointment to get tested and took the day off of work.  By Thursday I felt like I was going to die (over dramatic, but felt like I'd inhaled a hand full of fiberglass and could barely breathe) and came back with a positive test.  Over night it dissipated to a head cold and the lung stuff went away.

Not perfect by any stretch, but a lot better than yesterday.  I slept for 15 hours last night.. Went to bed at 5 and got up at 8am.

Hope you get better. When it affects your lungs I know it's scary.
