Boring Saturday, Michigan had a bye.
Iowa always finds a way to choke it seems.
Cincy #2....they're good but not #2 good. But they play nobody the rest of the way so they'll stay ranked high if they win out and get beat in the post season.

As a GO BLUE Michigan fan... not sure I'd tease Vol fans about a loss to App.

Seem to remember September 1, 2007. I was in Mexico and thought the end was near.

They gave a ranked Tennessee team a big scare in 2016, but I don't remember App State ever beating them.

App State now Div. 1. And in a somewhat correlation, Cincinnati will move to the Big 12 (2024-25 season, I think).

The Big 12 Conference will add BYU, Central Florida, Cincinnati and Houston no later than 2024-25, bringing the league back to 12 teams.

All 4 teams will benefit playing tougher schedules.

I have chosen to wipe that game from my memory. I'm so mad that the team partied all night before the game and didn't take it seriously. It should have been another blowout win by Michigan.
As much as I respect him, I blame Lloyd Carr for that one.

I was watching a different game and they showed the highlights. Holy crap that must have been a long game.

The Wolverines travel to East Lansing this week to shove that Paul Bunyan Trophy up Sparty's ass!

Even with nine overtimes that segment went quickly. It was almost like a shootout with the two down session. At this time I think I like the old overtime more but I'll reserve the right to change my mind after I see more of them.

Not THAT long. New rules, after 2OT they do 2 pt. conversions (3 yards from end zone). 1 play for each team. It went fairly quick. (I don't like it, felt like hockey shootouts - works for hockey, not football)

Wolverines playing well. Should beat Sparty. Hopefully you stay unbeaten until the Buckeyes beat you at your (big) house by 4 touchdowns. (style points for the Playoff Selection Committee)
