Anonymous not-a-poll about the not-a-vax for the not-a-virus. :harhar:

There are no option for the single shot vax.

I wonder if you should add something like "I've had both shots but will not be getting a booster".

That would fall under one shot No? 🤔

I have not had any Covid vax. We already had Covid come through our house so we are not really worried about getting the vax. Luckily I work for a small company so this upcoming mandate won't affect me. If I worked for a big company I would have to weigh my job security and prospects when considering taking the vax or finding a new job. I fully believe that with all the things the dems are doing to destroy the country we will be in a full recession with double digit unemployment by this time next year. Any possible job change would have to have job security as a prime aspect to the decision.

Having spent a large part of my childhood in 3rd world shit holes
that suffered from typhus, typhoid, smallpox, malaria etc etc etc, I am a firm
believer in vaccinations. I've always thought the antivax movement wouldn't
exist if everyone could see the misery I saw in a small oil field town in Sumatra
in the late 1950's
The current pandemic is a different matter.
It reeks of politics and political warfare.
I believe the virus was produced in and leaked from a Chinese lab.
The dark cynical part of me believes the Chinese leaked it on purpose
and continue to produce and leak new variants.
Whether to get vaxed or not depends on a lot of factors
My wife and I are in our late 60's and have health issues that make getting covid a serious
matter.. Long term effects of the virus are not a real concern because of our age.
It's a whole different story for younger, healthier people.
I have been vaxed against CV-19 and don't care who knows it
I hold no ill will against anyone who choses not to get vaxed.
and I firmly believe the current government mandates are unconstitutional.

This is pretty much my view on this debacle.

I got vaxed because my girlfriend is a teacher and I didn't want to chance getting her sick and inadvertently offing someone's kid.  Yes, I know that children are low risk but that isn't the point.

She also has family members who are older and have medical issues.

Jokes on me (a small amount of sarcasm) because I got covid anyway.

I'm late enough in life that I'm not too concerned with long term side affects of the vax. I'm more concerned with things like heart disease and cancer.

All of that said, I think that the mandates are horse manure.  I know that it's a talking point and becoming almost cliche to say that everyone who is afraid of the virus has the opportunity to get vaccinated. Why is it that the vaccinated seem to be the most afraid of the virus?

That makes sense, I don't really socialize with anyone high risk, I don't visit older family etc, if i did i might think differently about getting the jab.

being concerned or aware of the consequences of covid19 doesn't equal scared

You can be concerned and aware of the consequences of Covid without vilifying a group of people for being hesitant or afraid of the vaccination.  I know that there are some irrational people out there spreading a mass if misinformation and those aren't who I'm talking about.  There are legitimate reasons to be skeptical of the vaccination.

People who claim that rational vaccine hesitant people are intentionally killing their family members, in my opinion, are just as irrational as the people who spread the covid misinformation. That is the "scared", and the group of people that I'm talking about.

Here in MN the week of 10/4 there were 16600+ new reported Covid cases. In that same week there were a little over 6000 breakthrough cases reported. That's almost 40%. This mandate is not about stopping Covid, it's about ensuring enough profit for big pharma before they can't claim the vax works anymore or the virus mutates enough to make it obsolete.

I believe the Covid is a direct result of Global warming and systemic racism and only way to stop it is give everyone a million dollars except for illegals.  They get 2 million.

Not vaxxed and not planning to. I have (controlled) high blood pressure, had a heart attack 4 years ago, and a BMI slightly over 30. I'm high risk but if covid is gonna take me, then that's the way it's gonna be.
