Fun fact, the nannies in The People's Republik of Kommieforniastan banned those tobacco pouch things not sure exactly what they are... but we have to smuggle a certain brand and flavor from Utah for my oldest son in the PRK. We usually take like 3 logs to him every few months. He probably sells them to his buddies at 4x the price.  

And that is why bans are both ineffective and dangerous.  Now you 've been roped into the illicit trades.  And you are armed to the teeth and paranoid, proving my point exactly.

What SHOULD be being concentrated on, is the increased families falling into poverty which then obviously creates malnutrition.
Add to that the obvious, "shit in a can/shit in a box/fast food" junk, and the kids don't do too well....

Also - same as convid where the jabs could never work which is why they are rushing to develop "mist "vaccines" so the good stuff can be sucked pure into the lungs.... "Measles is viral"....
But don't forget Vaccines administered intramuscularly cannot confer mucosal immunity.
Which is why "mist vaccines" are being developed....

Uh, isn't that supposed to be the deal with democracy?
I think Doug's point is made in frustration that the democracy has slid to corporate oligarchy to kleptocracy, and the winner-take-all spoils of unregulated capitalism just leads to more of the same.  If the democracy can be bought, so that it further lines the pockets of the buyers, it's not much of a democracy after all.
Just living with the lies of meritocracy, watching the world work by who you know not what you know, and by how much money you start with rather than how hard you work.
No surprise - they call it capitalism because it works for capital.
We need to add a little humanism, so it works better for people.

Here in Cyprus, "they" have decimated the early holiday crowds by "unsafe to travel warnings" leading to cancelling flights because we're "in a war zone" baaaalah blah blah.
Meanwhile, the reality v the BS is it's beautiful and everything is normal except a lot of restaurants and hotels are currently struggling.
Plus side, is there's more space for us....

I get fully read in on what's happening on the ground.  Should be quite the pain in the ass.

I'll bet we do... none of us smoke and we don't drink much so we probably don't notice it. Maybe a case of beer between 5 adults over the course of a year. Maybe.
